Hello! Hope you are enjoying the weekend!
I was really lucky last month to be the winner of the September challenge for SATW, so this month I had the opportunity to guest design for this month's challenge. It is by Jessy Christopher and so, so pretty:
Although the sketch is optional, I chose to base my layout on it:
As you can probably tell, I was inspired by the pretty colours and the gold from the shoes (my 7 year-old daughter who has a fetish for shoes (already!!!), wants them!).
And some close-ups:
All the paper and die-cuts are from Crate Paper 'Maggie Holmes'. The mists are all Glimmer Mists. The splash of gold, was gold paint, mixed with some glue and glitter, then splattered, adding more glitter afterwards.
It's a gorgeous challenge. All the details are HERE.
Thanks for looking!

Scrap Friends - Colour Challenge #18 - DT
Hello all!,
Scrap Friends has released the new colour challenge today
:
It's gorgeous, don't you think?
My interpretation, which was a bit of an experiment:
And some close-ups:
I didn't intend for the background to consume the whole page, and had initially had two different papers, (you can see the join in the main photo) on which I was going to add just a light touch, but I got carried away. There's a lot of gelato work, some embossing powder, molding paste, misting and more gelato work. It was fun to do, though I showed it to some non-scrappy friends and they didn't like it too much - they didn't really see the point. I have to laugh.
Anyway, I hope you get a chance to enter this challenge and do a better job than me!
Thank you for coming by.

Scrap Friends - Sketch Challenge #18 - DT
Already October? No, it can't be!
The sketch for the month has just been released for Scrap Friends - Sketch #18. It's fabulous:
I ended up rotating it like this:
I used only the new Dapper Dan collection from Glitz (I LOVE Glitz), available HERE, to create this layout of my son:
Believe it or no, I have a large white splash and drips underneath all the layers...I just got a little carried away, and ended up covering most of it.
Here are some close-ups:
I hope you will be able to enter this challenge. It's a really fun one to do. Head on over to Scrap Friends, if you haven't already, to check it out!
Thank you for coming by and any comments you may leave!
