Paper Stories DT July Sketch

This is my final sketch challenge as a Design Team member for Paper Stories. Endings are always sad, but it has been a wonderful experience and I am very thankful to Georgia for giving me the opportunity and my first design team experience! Thank you Georgia. Big hug!x

So here is the July sketch:

And my version:

I'm trying to use some of my older stash of products, and came across these red and pink acetate frames and big arrow from  K&Company. Looking at the photo of the layout, I'm not particularly happy with the use of the large arrow, but then I look again, and think it grounds it in a way. So it's passable.

I have lots of chipboard that I have collected since I first started scrapbooking, but have hardly used any of it, so am also trying to incorporate that element into my layouts as well.

I'm almost out of my flower stash (this is disastrous!), so had to cut some in half and arrange them to make it look a little fuller.

The paper I used was Kaiser (Miss Nelly).

Hope you are able to join the challenge this month. Looking forward to seeing your creations!

  1. This is lovely...I was going to say I LOVED the arrow!!! It's weird how sometimes other peeps like our stuff better than we do - point in case!!! Anyways.....good on you using up the chipboard as well:):) It's good to have a 'challenge'!!!! You'll be missed at Paper Stories:):)
