Art Journal Caravan - Challenge Nos. 5 & 6

I've been playing around and decided to try out two challenges over at Tangie Baxter & Co and the Art Journal Caravan.
Both challenges are about figments of the imagination. The first one, No.5 has this colour way as part of the challenge:

Captivated Visions - Face The Sunshine

Scrapaneers - February Champions

This month over at Scrapaneers - Champions, it's all about 'romance'.  The kit (supplied as part of the course) is soft and beautiful, and the techniques are all about beautifying the photograph and aging it to get an old romantic feel, new techniques for me.

CSI - #191

Hello All,

CSI have just released their newest challenge for which The Nifty Pixel provided the fabulous sketch/template:

My layout, which unfortunately uses photos that aren't great quality. I don't know why they turned out so badly, but I was the only happy snapper, so it's all I have. Disappointing, but I would rather bad quality than none at all of the special moment. :)

Captivated Visions - Artified: Smitten

Hello Everyone,

I am super happy to announce I have just made the Creative Team for digital designer, 'Captivated Visions'! YAY for me! The shop is at Sweet Shoppe Designs. Take a peak of some of the products HERE.

My first layout as a Creative Team member is for the newly released template: Artified: Smitten. The templates are pretty amazing as they are composed of so many textural layers that make it much easier to get interest on the page and the mixed media background look. I LOVE them.

My final layout is a rather different style for me. Simpler and more akin to free-style. I was just experimenting.  It looks a little strange to me, but I think it's good to do something different every now and again. :)
