It's school holidays here and I am also on uni break, though plodding along at some assignments. I needed a break, so while the children build a cubby-house in the lounge room, I have decided to enter Prima PPP for this month - I only just make the deadline of today!
Here is the PPP:
The colours are unusual for me, so it was quite a challenge.
Here is what I came up with:
I'm trying to make a more concerted effort to journal on my pages. I really enjoy the process of making a layout, but always get stumped at the title and the journaling as I never know what to write. Anyway, the photo is of my youngest taken in July 2013, and the journaling reads:
This photo of you was taken the week before you started school. I want you to know that I have loved having you home and I shall miss you being around during the day. My beautiful, clever girl. I love you.
And some close-ups:
All the paper, flowers, masks and stamps are Prima. In addition I have used a doily, paints, mists and an embossing folder.
Thank you for looking!
Oh this is beautiful.. what lovely journalling and the back ground is amazing.. cute photo too!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Other Lizzie...this is AMAZING...love the colours & the fine detail:):) And to you with your journaling...the more you do, the easier it gets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI read your post and I am the exact same way, I go along creating a lo and then at the end I don't know where to put a title or any journaling! I agree with you completely, journaling adds so much more meaning to a lo, but it's quite a challenge for me! I LOVE your lo, it's so beautiful, the background and all the small details are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!! I love love that color palette and you sure worked wonders with it!! Fantastic details!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing project!
