Prima - September PPP

It's school holidays here and I am also on uni break, though plodding along at some assignments. I needed a break, so while the children build a cubby-house in the lounge room, I have decided to enter Prima PPP for this month - I only just make the deadline of today!

Here is the PPP:

The colours are unusual for me, so it was quite a challenge.
Here is what I came up with:

I'm trying to make a more concerted effort to journal on my pages. I really enjoy the process of making a layout, but always get stumped at the title and the journaling as I never know what to write. Anyway, the photo is of my youngest taken in July 2013, and the journaling reads:
This photo of you was taken the week before you started school.  I want you to know that I have loved having you home and I shall miss you being around during the day. My beautiful, clever girl. I love you.

And some close-ups:

All the paper, flowers, masks and stamps are Prima. In addition I have used a doily, paints, mists and an embossing folder.

Thank you for looking!

  3. I read your post and I am the exact same way, I go along creating a lo and then at the end I don't know where to put a title or any journaling! I agree with you completely, journaling adds so much more meaning to a lo, but it's quite a challenge for me! I LOVE your lo, it's so beautiful, the background and all the small details are gorgeous!
