Glitz June Monthly Challenge & Page Drafts Sketch #31.2

Hello all,

I have decided to enter the Glitz June Monthly Challenge again this month. The challenge being 'mini'. I don't do mini albums but layouts using smaller photos (3x4 inches or smaller) is acceptable (so too are cards, 4x4 inches or smaller).
So the challenge again:
12Year-3x4mini-1-Glitz

I have also used Sketch #31.2 from Page Drafts:

And my layout:

The photo is of my eldest daughter and son taken a year ago. Ever since they were really little, I have always been asked if they are twins. Looking at this photo it's hard to believe they are not, but actually 17 months apart.

I have used Glitz paper for all layers and one of the flowers as well as using it as a base to stamp and cut Heartfelt Creations leaves and punch some further little leaves. I have also used Glitz Peek-A-Boos. Other supplies include Kaiser chipboard, Prima flowers, texture paste, mist, paint and stitching.

In the detail below, you can see the flower I made, a leaf I punched, a Silhouette shape and leaves I stamped and cut, all on Glitz paper. On the lower layers, there is also a little of the Peek-a-Boos showing:

Thank you for coming by today. If you have some Glitz papers, there is still time to enter. Details are HERE.
And if you are needing inspiration, I always get my mojo going from Em Stafrace at Page Drafts.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

CSI - Case File No.S365-6 & PageDrafts #31.1

Hello all,

I haven't done a layout at CSI for a while - I love their challenges but haven't found the time lately to join in, but when I saw the current monthly challenge in collaboration with Scrap365, I couldn't resist.
The gorgeous challenge:

And I also used this fabulous sketch (Sketch #31.1) from Page Drafts which I rotated anti-clockwise:

And my layout which is of my eldest daughter who loves to dress up and be fancy:

So from the CSI challenge, I have used:
  • all the colours...except on my printer the blue turned out to be a dark bluey/grey and I forgot it was brighter
  • ribbon (floral)
  • flowers
  • stripes (on the paper)
  • book page
  • gold
  • texture paste
  • 6 word memoir, and
  • a frame for my story/memoir
A few close-ups:

Thank you for coming by.

Hello everyone,

Today is the reveal of the final challenge from the current Design Team from Kreative Koncepts as well as my final challenge that I have set. Thank you to all who have joined any of the challenges over the last six months and supported and encouraged my role as challenge host for Kreative Koncepts. This is also my last reveal for the Design Team, as I leave alongside the other members who have all been so wonderful and who are really lovely, supportive people, let alone do amazing work.

So this is the challenge:

And my take is a Digital Layout:

Supplies used: Katie Pertiet Layered Template; Papers: Glitz Design; Stamps & Elements: Glitz Design; Stamps: Ali Edwards.

I also would like to enter the above layout in the Glitz June Monthly Challenge:

12Year-3x4mini-1-Glitz

It's a 'Make It Mini' challenge meaning you can make a mini album, or use mini photos on your layout or whatever you can think of that relates to 'mini'. More details can be found HERE.

For Colour Challenge #26 and to see the work of other Design Team members and our Guest Designers, please go HERE.

Kreative Koncepts - Sketch Challenge #26 - DT

Hello everyone,

Thank you for joining me today. June marks the last month of my term with Kreative Koncepts. The time has flown by! This means, this is also my last sketch challenge. It's a little different, but hope it challenges and provokes some creative ideas and thought:

And my version:

The photo is of my youngest daughter. She loves wearing hats, and on this particular occasion, she also donned a scarf as she was pretending to be Miss Phyrne Fisher, the lady detective (from the books by Kerry Greenwood, and now television series). Both my girls just love how she dresses, I do too.

And some close-ups:

There are so many wonderful and varied layouts based on this sketch by the Design Team and Guest Designers which you can find HERE if you are needing a little inspiration on this sketch. Hope you can join us!

Thank you again for coming by and any comments you care to leave.
