I solved the case as so:
Testimony: Stripes, animal, ribbon, buttons, triangles
Evidence: 'My Boy' is the title of a song by Elvis Presley; Inspiration word, 'party' is in the journaling.

Kraft+ September Challenge - 2nd Layout

 This is of my youngest daughter sitting at the front of our house having a moment. I think I may have gone over-the-top with the paint on this one, but I was enjoying myself and couldn't help it! :)

Kraft + September Challenge

Hello Everyone,

I didn't realise, but Kraft+ accepts digital layouts. It's a 'Yay' from me who has been doing mainly digital this last year. The talented Em Stafrace is a guest on the site and came up with this fabulous sketch to follow as part of the challenge:

Seeing as I love triangles, and I'm happy they accept digital layouts, I ended up making two layouts for the challenge. However, I have to do two posts for them to be able to link up. So here is the first layout:

The photo is of my eldest daughter. She was sitting around in our backyard tree when I brought my camera outside and took these candid shots.

CSI - Major Case File #175

Hi all,

CSI has just released its latest Major Case File for the month - #175. I have the honour of being a Guest Designer, or rather a 'Special Investigator' for the month. I love this case file and the Page Drafts sketch by Em Stafrace:

My layout:

I solved the case as so:

COLOURS: I used all the colours

EVIDENCE: polka dots, plus signs, hearts, animals, flowers, leaves, bows, pocket

TESTIMONY: Inspiration words: love, hello; List prompts: 'Today I saw'. Journaling reads: Today I saw...+ you three cherubs playing together + the three of you laughing and giggling + a lovely family moment + us being together and enjoying our time + the sun shining.

The Nifty Pixel - Girl Friday

Hello everyone,

Thank you for coming by to check out the latest release from The Nifty Pixel. Once again, Em Stafrace has wowed us with another gorgeous kit and goodies. This time, I decided to go hybrid, and made some postcard sized cards. But first, this is what Em has just released:

The Nifty Pixel - Dreams Come True

Hello everyone,

It's an exciting day today. I am absolutely thrilled for the amazing Em Stafrace of The Nifty Pixel and Page Drafts Sketches, as she is opening shop today. YAY! Her shop is at Srap Stacks, which is also having their opening today, celebrating with 40% off all goods. The first collection for The Nifty Pixel that Em has designed, is a mix of vintage and modern with a splash of bling. Totally gorgeous:

This layout is one of my eldest daughter and myself on her 9th birthday. I very rarely have photos of myself, but attempted a selfie for such a special occasion.

This layout features my grandmother in the sepia photo, at the age of 17. She was a beautiful, funny and strong woman who experienced a lot of hardship. She loved roses and always dressed beautifully. This kit was perfect for her.
